Introducing Coach Manny Cabral: a dynamic force in basketball and community leadership from Roslindale, MA. From his early days discovering basketball at age 7 to his leadership roles on the teams at Belmont High School and Worcester State University, Manny has always been more than just a player. Graduating with a Psychology degree in 2016, he seamlessly transitioned from captain to coach, blending his love for the game with a deep commitment to community service.
With over a decade of experience in basketball training and a significant tenure at the Department of Children and Families, Manny has dedicated his life to guiding both athletes and individuals in need. Now pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work at Regis College, he's focused on elevating his impact, leveraging sports to foster growth, resilience, and leadership in young athletes.
Coach Manny recently was voted 2024 “Coach of the Year” for the Jr. Celtics Program, developed by the Jr. NBA acknowledging coaches who make a lasting impact on their communities through coaching.
